If you’re anything like I used to be, you’re likely the type of person that struggles to switch off…
In fact, take time to chill is up there with one of the hardest things to do.
Regularly you’re checking email, social media and scratching around for ‘leads’!
Anyway, this lack of switch off is a real problem, not just for your sanity, but for your family, your friends, your kids and your business development.
Weirdly many of my best business ideas have come from my “off” time.
Not time in front of a computer, or studying or anything.
Actually gaining separation.
Several years ago, I developed a Friday ritual to give me peace of mind over the weekend.
Side Note: The only reason you’re attached to your social media, phone, tech, and are constant checking it is because you don’t have confidence in your lead generation and conversion process. Nor do you comfortably know the numbers.
If you were generating the leads you needed, and making the sales you wanted every week, you’d have no need to be constantly checking your phone.
In fact, you’d have what I say to my mastermind elite students “Marketing Piece of Mind”
The calm presence, knowing what you’re doing is working.
So my Friday Ritual – is a numbers check and a Strategic Analysis of what worked and what didn’t.
I look at all of my numbers from the week, all of the things that went wel, the things that didn’t go well, and then make plans to improve them all the following week.
Meaning I walk into Monday knowing EXACTLY what needs doing.
No guess work, no weekend stress.
Not only that, I know EXACTLY what worked and what didn’t and have course corrections in place.
So I urge you to do the same.
Every single week, without fail.
Or you could wing it like you are now.
You can keep scratching around for leads.
You can keep being distracted when you should be focussed.
And you can stay stuck at your current monthly income going up a little, going down a little.
For those that are ready to get some help…
… you can book a “Business Growth Audit” with me.
A 10 minute express coaching call to identify what’s going wrong, how to fix it and a plan for moving forward.
It’s not a sales call in disguise like the strategy sessions you see, nor is there any obligation to buy a product or service.
In fact, I won’t even mention ANY of my products or services unless you ask me to.
